Use Your Phone As A Key And More

After you download the myGMC app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you will be able to connect to your car and lock or unlock the doors, start or stop the vehicle, and sound the horn. Don’t worry; there will be no way to confuse which command is being given to the GMC vehicle, as each function has its own unique design, so owners and users know exactly what they’re doing. You can also share driving destinations with the vehicle by sending an address to the in-car navigation system. 

New Updates

GMC is updating the app from time to time to give everyone the best possible experience. A recent update also added the ability to do a vehicle health check through Vehicle Status, which also allows you to see how much fuel your pickup or SUV has, as well as check the tire pressure levels for all four tires, and you will be able to know when you should schedule your next oil change. You can also schedule service appointments via the app and make payments, too. 

Family Sharing

With the Family Sharing function, the app allows up to eight people to see your vehicle’s location, manage the WiFi hotspot inside the car, and use the same remote controls to start or stop the vehicle, lock and unlock the doors, and turn on or off the horn. If you have more than one GMC or GM vehicle in your home, you can also allow multiple vehicles to be shared among the same group of people.
