Motor Options

Buyers can choose between a dual-motor with 570 horsepower or the tri-motor that makes a whopping 1,000 horsepower. With the dual-motor Hummer EV, you can tow 12,000 lbs, which is more than the Ford F-150 Lightning and Rivian R1T. Choosing the tri-motor Hummer drops the towing capacity to between 7,500 and 8,500 lbs, which is still a lot. That aligns it with vehicles like the Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon, and well above the Ford Expedition. Car and Driver tested a Hummer EV with three motors and were able to rocket to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. 

Truck or SUV?

The Hummer EV truck features a 5-foot bed with the revolutionary GMC MultiPro tailgate. For buyers that prefer the usability and space of an SUV, the Hummer EV SUV has 35.9 cu.ft. of cargo space behind the rear seats. Folding them down increases storage capacity to 81.8 cu.ft. 

Trim Levels

The Hummer is available in EV2x and EV3x. The 2x models have a dual-motor setup, while the 3x has a tri-motor setup. Dual-motor EV2x models can drive up to 311 miles on a single charge, and Tri-motor Hummer EV models can go 314 miles. EV3x models can be equipped with the 24-module battery pack, which increases the range to an estimated 381 miles. 

Extreme Off-Road Package

For those customers looking to take their Hummer EV off-roading, the optional Extreme Off-Road Package will have everything you need, including:

• 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT Tires and 18-inch black aluminum wheels.
• Front and rear e-lockers for the GMC HUMMER EV2X Pickup and SUV, and front e-lockers with virtual rear lockers for the GMC HUMMER Edition 1 and HUMMER EV3X Pickup and SUV.
• Ball spline half shafts        
• A suite of up to 18 available camera views called UltraVision.
• Skid plates
• Rocker protectors with assist steps for easy access to the cabin. 
• Easy-to-clean rubber flooring and rubber inserts.

Screens

All models have a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with a 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system that gives the driver and front passenger tons of information and usability at their fingertips, plus wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. 

Cruisin’ With Super Cruise

GM Super Cruise is standard on all models and allows drivers to let the vehicle do most of the driving on highways and other approved roads. General Motors says that Super Cruise can be used on more than 750,000 miles of roads between America and Canada.
