Coming Soon: 2025 GMC Terrain

September 2nd, 2024 by

The 2025 GMC Terrain is arriving soon at Valley GMC. The newest version of our smallest SUV will deliver more space, more safety features, and more tech.

It will arrive first in the Elevation trim, which will feature more standard technology and equipment for the Terrain than ever before.

The 2025 Terrain will offer more than 15 standard safety and driver assistance features, as well as the comfort and convenience of heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Driver Assistance features new for 2025 include Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Reverse Automatic Braking, Side Bicyclist Alert, and Blind Zone Steering Assist.

Technology will be elevated in the 2025 Terrain. Standard on all trim levels will be a 15-inch-diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment System and an 11-inch-diagonal driver information center.

The Terrain’s 15-inch Premium GMC Infotainment touchscreen system is developed to give drivers a seamless and intuitive experience. Using the touchscreen or standard Google Assistant, drivers can reply to text messages, get directions through Google Maps, or control select vehicle functions. Drivers can also add apps such as Spotify to listen to their music and favorite podcasts.

Seeing your way around will be enhanced by eight available camera views, including an optional rear camera mirror – a first for the GMC Terrain.

What will distinguish the 2025 Terrain from the rest of the pack is its design. While it will be in line with the rest of the GMC lineup – including the current Canyon and Sierra pickup trucks, the 2025 Terrain offers a more planted and athletic stance. Terrain will sport a whole new attitude. The grille connects the new headlamps to the lower fog lights to create a distinctive front-end graphic.

You can opt for a two-tone roof option in black or gray, which has never been offered on a Terrain. Elevation models will come standard with 17-inch wheels.

The Terrain story will continue into next year when the Elevation model is joined by the 2026 AT4 and Denali trims. In the 2026 Terrain AT4, expect more capability to go further off the highway. This trim level will add a selectable AT4-exclusive Terrain Mode, a lifted ride height, a metal underbody protection shield, animated headlamps and taillamps, red front recovery hooks, 17-inch All-Terrain tires, all-wheel drive, and Hill Descent Control.

As the top of the range, the 2026 Terrain Denali will feature more advanced technology and supreme luxury. It will come standard with outboard front and rear heated seats, 19-inch wheels with available 20-inch wheels, and unique Smart Frequency Dampers for improved ride comfort.

All Terrain models are powered by a 175-horsepower 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 203 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission are also standard on the Elevation trim level at launch. You can tow up to 1,500 pounds in the new Terrain.
