Auburn Schools Coat Drive

Valley Buick GMC & RV is partnering with the Auburn Public School Foundation for a coat drive! We are proud to partner with them every year. 

Founded in 2011, the Auburn Public School Foundation (APSF) was created with the knowledge that public funding alone is inadequate to support students in the district. As they celebrate 12 years of aiding Auburn students, with more than $500,000 given to support Auburn students in STEM, literacy, the arts, nutrition, and other basic needs. In 2022 and 2023 alone, they have awarded 53 classroom grants that total $61,219.76, and $7,525 was donated to the pantry project’s immediate needs fund. They have set a goal of donating $1,000,000 to Auburn School District classrooms over the next three years. 

With their partners, the APSF has provided:

• 40,000 pairs of Bombas socks
• 1000 water bottles delivered & available
• Backpacks are delivered & available when needed while supplies last
• Coats, hats, shoes, regular clothes & underclothes provided in emergencies
• Feminine hygiene products secured for every school

Here’s how you can help: 

Stop by to fill the truck with coats for the Auburn public school children in desperate need. Coats of all sizes and for all ages are needed and appreciated. The foundation has Kids from preschool to seniors in high school that we are trying to help. 

You can go to our Venmo page to donate or type in our username, @ValleyBuickGMC, to find and donate. This money is given straight to the Auburn Public School Foundation. No donation is too small, as we firmly believe that every little bit helps provide for the needs of the school children.
