One of the first things you should do after driving your new GMC home is to download the myGMC app on your smartphone. The app is designed to improve your ownership experience in several ways, especially since all new GMC purchases include three years of the Remote Access Plan, which offers several benefits, such as: 

• Remote Commands – Allow you to remotely lock/unlock your doors, help you locate your vehicle by flashing the lights, honking the horn, and, on vehicles equipped with this feature, start/stop your vehicle from nearly anywhere.  

• Vehicle Locate – Enables you to identify your vehicle’s location, along with walking directions to its current position. You can also send points of interest directly to your vehicle’s built-in navigation system if so equipped.   

• Vehicle Health – Enables you to monitor your vehicle’s condition from your phone, including fuel range, tire pressure, oil life, odometer, and other vehicle statuses. You can also review diagnostic information on key systems, which indicates whether maintenance or service is needed.  

The Benefits of OnStar 

Adding an OnStar plan will provide increased reassurance and confidence, knowing that whatever happens, certified OnStar Advisors have your back 24/7 with the push of a button.
