2025 GMC Yukon Gets Improved Duramax Diesel Across Entire Lineup

A 10-speed automatic transmission comes with the Duramax engine. Expect smoother shifting from this proven transmission as it matches gears to your driving conditions. You can order your Duramax diesel with either two- or four-wheel drive. Of course, four-wheel drive is ideal when you are tackling the Cascade Range in the dead of winter and need 495 pound-feet of torque or handling washed out roads on the way to the camping ground.
