I had been thinking about a new for for quite a while. Once I decided what I wanted, I reached out to a total of 4 other dealerships. I was lied to, pressured, requests ignored, and disrespected. There were 3 dealerships I will never interact with again ,and if asked will tell my story. That was not how I was treated at Valley GMC. I received 2 recommendations from past purchasers how great they were. I would definitely buy another car from them.

As an out-of-state buyer, I was interested in a truck at the dealership, and Luis went above and beyond to keep me informed as it progressed through the inspection process and into the detail shop. He also took considerable time to send me photos and videos so I could get a better look at the truck from a distance. Unfortunately, the truck sold before I was able to get there. As I have stated previously, the techs in the oil change are not trained properly to find and grease the zerk fittings on my truck. They have never greased every fitting when asked to do so because they have not been properly trained to know where to find them or how to do it. I believe this is why some of my steering components failed and I had to have them replaced by your shop. When I pay that kind of money to have an oil change and tire rotation and I ask for it to be greased I would expect the job to be done property and complete. I will most likely find another place to do this moving forward. I have lost all confidence in this service. It is not convenient for me to drive this far out of my way to have the job not done properly. I have done this because I wanted to show my appreciation for your establishment from when I bought the truck. You have done all the servicing on it. There are you tube videos that show how to do this and where those fittings are and they aren’t easy to get to but non the less they are there to be greased. I would even be willing to come in and teach them where that are so other customers get serviced properly. It should be included in a truck oil change without having to ask. Most people don’t know they have those fittings or why they fail when they do.

This was the 4th vehicle we purchased new from Valley GMC. We would not buy from any other dealership!! Everyone that we have dealt with in sales and service are always friendly and want to help the customer. They do not try to pressure you or up-sell. They want what is best for you and that is what makes them so popular. They work to give you the best price and best experience that is tailored to each customer. I refered a friend down when we were buying our new vehicle. She was looking for a specific used vehicle which I saw on the lot while we were there. We called her and she came down and bought it two days later! We have several friends that buy their cars from Valley and they all say the same thing about the owner, staff and service people...all excellent and friendly.

I really wanted to have a positive experience with Valley GMC because I love the vehicle, and some employees treated me very well. Justin worked with me on the price, and I especially want to recognize David. He was incredibly kind, patient and welcoming to me and my children throughout my visits. Unfortunately, the finance portion completely changed my experience. From the beginning, I was very clear that I already had a pre-approval through Verity Credit Union and wanted to use Verity for my financing. I also stated that I did not want another credit application or credit pull. I was told Valley GMC works with Verity and that everything could be handled there, so I trusted that I was proceeding the way I requested. I had also planned to purchase my GAP and warranty through Verity. During the paperwork process, I even specifically asked if the GAP was through Verity. Based on how everything was explained, I left believing it was. The next day I contacted my Verity representative to verify everything and learned the dealership paperwork included a $5,000 service contract and $995 GAP contract through the dealership. I felt misled because that was not what I believed I had agreed to. Before the loan was finalized, I contacted the dealership and asked for new paperwork removing those optional products so I could purchase them directly through Verity. That is when my experience became extremely uncomfortable. Brendan, who handled the finance paperwork, became aggressive and confrontational about my request. I was made to feel as though I was doing something wrong simply for wanting the optional products removed. When I returned, the interaction continued and I felt pressured over whether they would accept Verity’s check and whether I could even leave with the vehicle. The situation became stressful enough that I was physically shaky and told them I no longer wanted the vehicle. As I told them, this vehicle was a luxury for me, not a necessity. No purchase was worth being made to feel that way. Brendan also contacted Verity directly. Afterward, my Verity representative confirmed the conversation and maintained that the decision about where I purchased GAP and warranty coverage was mine. I eventually asked to speak with someone higher up. I don’t remember his name or exact position, but he listened to me, apologized and helped resolve the situation. I genuinely appreciated him hearing my concerns. They ultimately allowed me to take the vehicle while I completed everything directly with Verity, and later accepted Verity’s check. So yes, everything was eventually resolved. My issue is why a customer should have to go through that simply for choosing their own financing and declining optional products. Customers should be able to ask questions, review paperwork and say no to optional products without feeling intimidated. My advice to anyone purchasing here is to read every number before signing and verify exactly who is providing your financing, GAP and warranty. I am happy with my vehicle and appreciate Justin working with me on the price. I also sincerely thank David for how kindly he treated me and my children, including helping me again when I returned with the check. Unfortunately, my finance experience was stressful enough that I would not return. I was offered a complimentary first oil change, but after this experience I don’t feel comfortable returning even for that. A dealership should want customers to leave feeling confident enough to come back, and unfortunately that was not the case for me.

Good service price way too high. And they charge 3 percent to use credit card. Really in this day and age.

I was on out of state buyer and Luis did an amazing job communicating with me. He shared videos of the truck, took many pictures for me, and answered all my questions. Luis was very responsive to all my texts, quickly answered all my emails, and I could not be happier with the level of care that he showed me.

Dealership was good in general. Polite and not pushy. Once the sale was done, I wasn’t impressed with the negative talking about the carbravo warranty. It was talked down and the threat of broke down vehicle, ie trany, engine ect was reiterated and reiterated to sale the extended warranty. On an exciting day, it cast a shadow on my excitement.

So much better than my past interactions with my service here. I've had issues with this location in the past with other service advisors. Jessica was extremely helpful, communicative and even sympathetic to my vehicles issues. I've been going to a different dealership for service that was a lot further from my home. my family experienced very bad experience of buying vehicle , Brian is very inexperience manager dosen't unterstand what he's doing , he initated vrong fedex label and that caused cancelation of transaction.

Service was great. But I was charged an additional 3% for using a credit card. This additional charge is insulting after paying over $200 for an oil change.

I only went there to do my oil change and they’re very good and fast and very welcoming.

I could be wrong, but was pretty sure I recall this. - The trade in value from MULTIPLE sources/sites, was closer to $50k trade in. I received well under that. I felt I was taken advantage of a little bit on that. I accepted it, but do feel it wasn't as high as it should have been. Other than these items, it was a great experience. Tristan and all were helpful, not annoying (lot of dealerships have over pushy and annoying employees), did good with quick communication/response, etc. Not a perfect score, but a good score.

Tristen was the best salesperson I have ever worked with when buying a vehicle. I have bought many.m We considered a truck last year for my wife but it ended up not being a good fit for her as a daily driver. Now it was my turn to look at a new vehicle. We returned to Valley to work with Tristen specifically. He was very helpful and went the extra mile to bring each truck around so we could see and compare them. In the end he helped steer us toward an AT4 for the more plush interior and adjustable passenger seat. The "extended test drive" made me feel good about owning the Sierra, which was a big step up in size compared to previous vehicles I've owned. The only thing I would change in the whole transaction was that in the finance process, the gentleman made me feel like I shouldn't trust the quality of the truck, when trying to sell us a warranty. Had we not worked with Tristen and also had a few friends swear by their GMCs, I likely would have left the transaction right there. Warranty sales is a delicate thing but you need to retain trust in the quality of your purchase. I didn't rate the other sales team as I didn't really work with them directly. Overall a job well done by Valley and any kudos to pass along to Tristen, would be nice. You are lucky to have him!

this is the second time I’ve taken my truck in for the same problem a check engine light that keeps coming on and they haven’t been able to fix it last time. They kept my truck for a month and still couldn’t fix the problem and refused to help me.

They charged $10.50 to use a visa. Really this shit needs to change.

Body damage was extremely disappointing to see when I was dropped off at the dealership. Brandon shared his desire to make it right as nobody came forward to own the accident. The new service operating system is clunky. Service history was not readily available and an itemized repair estimate was not provided for review. An electronic signature was required to begin service on a lump sum.

The only positive part of my experience at Valley GMC was the sales consultant, who was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Unfortunately, everything that followed was extremely disappointing. I purchased a used vehicle that was represented as having been inspected and ready for sale. Within one month and about 1,000 miles, the vehicle developed major mechanical issues, including a failing radiator and CV boot problems. These are not minor or sudden failures these are issues that clearly existed before the sale and should have been caught during the dealership’s inspection. When I brought these concerns to management, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of acknowledging that the inspection missed serious problems, they suggested the issues must have occurred while I owned the vehicle. Mind you, the vehicle took 2 weeks to ship to me and so my actual drive time was less than a month. Their limited warranty did not cover the majority of the repairs needed. This ultimately left me responsible for thousands of dollars in repairs almost immediately after purchase. It’s unacceptable to sell a vehicle in this condition and then avoid responsibility when problems surface right away. I trusted this dealership and was let down at every level except by the sales consultant. I have reported this experience to the BBB and GMC corporate so others are aware. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you expect transparency, accountability, or post-sale support.
