2026 Sierra EV Model Line Fills out with more Affordable Elevation and AT4 Trims
The 2025 Sierra EV launched last fall exclusively as a Denali model. Denali, as anyone familiar with GMC knows, indicates a high-luxury model at the top of the lineup. Therefore, it is a fantastic truck, but its possible price tag of over $100K puts it out of reach for some. Valley GMC is excited to announce that for the 2026 model year, GMC will expand the lineup to include Elevation and AT4 models, making the Sierra EV accessible to a broader audience.

The Sierra EV Denali comes with two large battery sizes. There is the 170-kWh extended-range battery, good for an estimated 390 miles, and the 205-kWh max-range battery (similar to that found in the Hummer EV), which has an estimated range of 460 miles. These are impressive figures, but not everyone needs that kind of range, particularly if the truck’s primary use is for daily driving.
The base Elevation model will come with a standard-range battery. GM has not disclosed the size or operating range of this battery, but it is expected to be in the 250- to 300-mile range. This makes it ideal for those who use their trucks for commuting and daily activities while charging at home. The Elevation will also be offered with the extended-range battery.

The Elevation retains the Midgate feature along with the standard Multi-Pro tailgate, and the dashboard will maintain the 16.8-inch touchscreen; however, it will lack the rear-axle steering and Crab Walk capability. You’ll find the rear steering and Crab Walk features on the off-road-focused AT4, which includes an additional two inches of ground clearance. Like the Denali, the AT4 will be available with either the extended-range or max-range battery. It will also have a maximum towing capacity of 12,300 pounds, surpassing the current Denali model by approximately 2,000 pounds. Additionally, for 2026, the Denali model will introduce a standard-range battery option.
“With these additional trims and customer options, the Sierra EV is positioned right in the heart of the premium truck market,” Jaclyn McQuaid, global VP of Buick GMC, said in a statement.

The battery size, range, and power figures for the Elevation with the standard-range battery will be announced closer to the launch date. However, GM has released the MSRPs for the 2026 Sierra EV model line:
2026 GMC Sierra EV Trim MSRP (including $2,095 Dest. Charge)
Elevation (Standard Range) $64,495
Elevation (Extended Range) $72,695
AT4 (Extended Range) $81,395
AT4 (Max Range) $91,695
Denali (Standard Range) $71,795
Denali (Extended Range) $79,995
Denali (Max Range) $100,695
It is worth noting that in addition to the Cybertruck’s many other issues, the Sierra EV Elevation with the standard-range battery undercuts the Cybertruck’s price by $15,000. The current Sierra EV features an 800-volt electrical architecture that allows for DC direct charging of 100 miles in just 10 minutes and a Level 2 charging time (like with a home charger) of 14 miles per hour.
Valley GMC looks forward to making this great vehicle available to a wider range of customers. Models are expected to arrive late this summer. Ask one of our sales professionals to contact you when the trucks—or more information about them—become available.
